Linen or Cotton: Choosing Fabric for Summer

Linen breathes better in summer heat. Its hollow fibers wick moisture away from the skin, which is why it feels cool to the touch even in July.

Cotton, on the other hand, is softer against sensitive skin and holds its shape better after repeated washing. For bedding, many of our customers layer both.

Whichever you choose: wash cold, skip the dryer when you can, and let the fabric age. Natural fibers are not meant to look new forever — they are meant to look loved.
